Video on Demand lets you watch any of the JW Broadcasting videos with full playback control (pause, rewind, fast forward, skip). Watch just one video or all the videos in a collection.

(Note: Diagrams of a Roku 3 remote are included throughout this tutorial. Your remote may differ slightly.)

Select Video on Demand from the JW Broadcasting home page to see the available video categories. Follow the steps below to find and watch videos:

•  Find a Video

•  Control Video Playback

•  Watch Recent or Featured Videos

Using the Left and Right arrows on your Roku remote, navigate through the category carousel. The highlighted category appears in the middle of your screen with an image, title, and brief description. Press the OK button to select the highlighted category.

Some videos can be found in multiple categories. For example, the video The Prodigal Returns may be found in Movies, Family, and Teenagers.

Each row of videos on the category page represents a video collection. As you use the arrows on your Roku remote to move around this page, the Details Bubble shows the highlighted video’s title and duration.

• Up and Down arrows: Navigate to a different collection. The title of the collection appears above the carousel.

• Left and Right arrows: Scroll through the videos within a collection.

  Tip: The counter in the top right shows how many videos are in the collection and which video you are currently highlighting.

Press OK to select a video and show the video details page. Select one of the following actions on this page:

• Play: Play the video from the beginning.

• Play With Subtitles: This option only displays if subtitles are available for the current video. Selecting it will play the video with subtitles and also enable subtitles (when available) for all videos in the Streaming and Video on Demand sections. To disable subtitles, select Play Without Subtitles.

• Play All in This Collection: Play all the videos in the collection, starting with the current video.

  Note: Playback will stop when all the videos in the collection have been played.

When a video is playing in the Video on Demand section, you can control the playback with your Roku remote as follows:

• Pause: Pause the video. Press the button again to resume the video.

• Fast Forward: Suspend playback and move forward quickly through the video. When the video progress indicator reaches the spot you want to watch, press the Play button.

  Tip: You can press the Fast Forward button multiple times to fast forward more quickly.

• Rewind: Suspend playback and move back toward the beginning of the video. When the video progress indicator reaches the spot you want to watch, press the Play button.

  Tip: You can press the Rewind button multiple times to rewind more quickly.

• Right Arrow: Suspend playback and move forward by 10 seconds. When the video indicator reaches the spot you want to watch, press the Play button.

• Left Arrow: Suspend playback and move backward by ten seconds. When the video indicator reaches the spot you want to watch, press the Play button.

• Down Arrow: Display information about the video for a few seconds. Press the button again to dismiss the information screen.

• Up Arrow or Back: Return to the video details page.

The JW Broadcasting home page lists two special Video on Demand collections:

1. Featured: When this collection is available, it includes videos of special interest, such as those featured in connection with our weekly meetings or family worship.

2. Latest: The six most recently added videos.

Follow these steps to choose a video from one of these collections:

• Highlight the collection using the Up or Down arrow.

• Press the OK button to show the videos in the highlighted collection.

• Use the Up or Down arrow to scroll through the videos.

• Press OK to select the highlighted video and display its detail page.

  Note: Select Play All in This Collection on this screen to play all the videos in one of these special collections.
